About

Joseph Ricard started his first company, Ricard Technologies while attending college at Florida State University. While attaining a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Joseph worked with CompUSA doing onsite development with their corporate customers. After CompUSA showed a large boost in business, he decided to open his own tech shop on the Florida State University campus.  Ricard Technologies soon became the number one computer repair shop in Tallahassee, Florida. Business expanded quickly and he soon landed large contracts for his company managing 3500 users for an ISP, and another developing a Foreign Exchange trading platform using four application servers in 3 different countries. Due to the convenient on-campus location, he was also able to obtain a contract with FSU’s Computer Science division. Joseph provided an internship program for the university’s computer science students, where they could obtain real world experience working in the tech shop. In return, these students were offered credit hours while working towards their degree.

With web development on the rise Joseph soon branched out into developing websites for small to medium sized businesses. He also began developing applications for larger businesses as well.  This new branch became Sato Marketing.

For the past 5 years, there has been a huge shift in web development from static web sites to dynamic websites. With a background in Information Technology, Search Engine Optimization, and Project Management, Joseph had a niche for achieving large growth ability with smaller businesses. This ability soon became the purpose of Sato Marketing.
