This is a website about my abilities, my goals and dreams, and me, Joseph Ricard. I purchased this domain in 2005 and didn’t really do much with it at the time. When I purchased my first website in 10th grade, I created it mainly around my friends and family. Finally, when I was graduating college, I made this into a professional resume website. Today, I use this website more just as a storage place to see where I have been and where I am going.
In this website you will find my professional resume, articles I write about various subjects, links I find interesting, and my contact information.
Some of the articles will link to me being an entrepreneur, how to find the best guy ever (me), and articles about me being a computer genius. A lot of the articles I have posted are for humor, but more for page ranking on those subjects. This is a technique for SEO to come up number one for keywords in certain subjects.
I am an entrepreneur. I have started or worked with over eight company startups in my life and am always looking for more projects to work on. I am currently traveling, but live in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I typically work in projects as the IT guru, bringing in creative ways for marketing, incorporating technology to help streamline processes, or business development by bringing together a team of specialist.

An intro about me:
In the Entrepreneurial world, Joseph Ricard started his first company, Ricard Technologies while attending college at Florida State University. While attaining a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Joseph worked with CompUSA doing onsite development with their corporate customers. After CompUSA showed a large boost in business, he decided to open his own tech shop on the Florida State University campus. Ricard Technologies soon became the number one computer repair shop in Tallahassee, Florida. Business expanded quickly and he soon landed large contracts for his company managing 3500 users for an ISP, and another developing a Foreign Exchange trading platform using four application servers in 3 different countries. Due to the convenient on-campus location, he was also able to obtain a contract with FSU’s Computer Science division. Joseph provided an internship program for the university’s computer science students, where they could obtain real world experience working in the tech shop fixing computers. In return, these students were offered credit hours while working towards their degree.
With web development on the rise Joseph soon branched out into developing websites for small to medium sized businesses. He also began developing web based applications for larger businesses as well. Currently, he works as a consultant typically advising company start-ups or sitting on as a specialist on the board.
For the past 10 years, there has been a huge shift in web development from static web sites to dynamic websites. With a background in Information Technology, Search Engine Optimization, and Project Management, Joseph had a niche for achieving large growth ability with smaller businesses. He has found his ability in helping other company’s grow and launch their company through the use of web development, marketing, and streamlining processes with technology.
