I launched this website a long time ago. I had no clue what the purpose was really except to display my resume. Since then, I really do not apply to jobs as much, and when I do, I typically know the person very good that it’s not an “application” per say.

I had this site sitting here, and I know that your name is very important to own. There are a couple “Joey Ricard” out there, but not as many as other people. My poor friend Willie has to compete with celebrities and about 4000 other people with the same name. Owning the domain name though is very important. My brother had to buy a .org

Since I had the website hanging out, and I do internet marketing, SEO, and website design, I figured, I would SEO and actually put a little effort into the website.

What terms did I choose, well “Genius Entrepreneur” and “Computer Genius”. I already have “Joey Ricard” that’s easy. It’s the more fun part of SEO, getting cool keyword searches. Someone should try to get “Coolest Dude on the planet”… Hmm I got a new idea.

So here I am approaching font page for Computer Genius. My friends have called me one since I was like 13. I started out doing Photoshop at a magnet school of the arts -> to hacking video games systems (for fun, not maliciously) -> to working in a tech shop -> to large IT deployments.

At the time writing this I manage an IT company in South Florida and I am ranked on page 5 for Computer Genius on my personal website. I want to do it just for fun. To show that search engine results can be obtained. Sometimes it takes time, and a good SEO strategy, but (with a computer genius on your team) it can be obtained.

So the purpose of this is to give you a overview of what I am doing right now with the website.
