I remember when I went to Vegas with a couple of friends at the age of 21. I had an older friend named Joe, that would always tell me stories about him going to Vegas, playing around with $2,500, betting, losing, winning, always coming out $1,000 up, but also getting free meals, free hotel rooms, free return flights, etc. Because of him telling me stories, actual true stories, I thought to my self, “Why not try?” so I did.
I have been hearing and seeing this term "Futurist" pop up and its seeming to be more of a trending term. So I started to see what defines a Futurist.
A real Futurist personally, is a psychic, otherwise we are looking at a person who just understands certain realms of an industry and is educated in that field or subject. A Futurist is a coined term of predicting where things are going based on current trends. The problem is, everyone is just calling themselves a futurist, and not having a focused area of concentration like science, technology, politics, entertainment, fashion, education, or even food.
For me, learning where technology has been heading has always helped me to understand where I need to be when things change. It’s always been as if a Hurricane was coming but you didn’t know until the day of it arriving...

This is a quote from a movie called Limitless with Bradley Cooper. It really motivates me, I can sit and skim through the movie and see parts that make me continue and hold on to those moments I have felt in life. Those moments where you know your old life is over.
Some of the best feelings I have had is when you know you have just crossed a pivotal point in your life, where you know what you just passed, will leave you as a new person.
I have felt this a couple times in my life and it is actually the best feeling I have ever had and the most addictive feeling to me in the world.

I have been in many situations where people come to me and ask me questions that can be simply answered by searching for it. I remember when I was being interviewed in college I was asked, “What would you do if you did not know the answer to something?” The typical person would answer, “ask my supervisor?” but if you know how to solve most issues on your own then you know how to search for the solutions. I responded with “Google it”, and that answer helped me land a very good job at the time.
The reality is that most of your questions can be searched for; and the most important skill that a person can have is to know how to find the proper answers...
I watched a video today (at the bottom of the article) about Dennis Crowley (@dens) who is the co-founder of Foursquare and I wanted to go further into detail about what he was talking about during his convocation speech to the 2011 Syracuse School of Information Studies.
I currently have not been too much into Foursquare, but after listening to Dennis Crowley’s speech and seeing how he is passionate about his business model and about his beliefs in success, I now have a newfound respect for him and his company from how I have felt in my experiences.
He spoke about his last 10 years, and how he had been through failure, but has always been passionate about what he is doing currently. He spoke about how he did not achieve success right away and how he has failed many times throughout the past 10 years...

How to find the best guy ever....
I am actually writing this just for kicks, so please don't take this serious.
I am writing this for the ladies, so they can find someone like me, the best guy ever ;)
1. The best guy doesn't just sit around on the couch and talk about his glory days of football and women. The guy has to be a go getter, he has to have more goals in his life than just "make money" or "hustle" like most cheeseballs say they are doing. He has lots of energy to dedicate to the important things in life. This brings me to the next one...
2. Like the purple elephant in the room, a good guy really sticks out, has life goals and doesn't slow down until he achieves them. He will basically NOT stop until he achieves these dreams...
Some people in life look at the value everything is worth; their sunglasses, their car, their clothes, the type of watch they wear, and how much they make.
I understand 100% that we should value everything, and appreciate the value of things and people in your life. Some people bring more value than others, and some people bring less value.
Now that we have covered what value is and we all understand how value works, let’s go over confidence.
Confidence is understanding your value and how you are valued among others. People with good strong confidence do not second guess their value in life, and know when they do something it is exactly what is asked from them.
Now confidence can be confused with arrogance. If you do not take the time to analyze a person you can easily miscategorize someone as confident when they are arrogant and vice-versa...
When developing a website, you need to make sure you have a purpose. A lot of people or companies want a website, but get distracted on the purpose of the website to start.
Some people will call this purpose a “Call to Action”. You may have an ultimate purpose of the website like “to make money” but there may need to be a call to action to create the drive for that purpose. When developing your website, first think about what you want the website to do for you or your company.

A simple answer, Cloud Computing is making use of new internet based technology which uses the “cloud” (internet) to do the processing versus the client’s machine.
There are different flavors of Cloud Computing.

I launched this website a long time ago. I had no clue what the purpose was really except to display my resume. Since then, I really do not apply to jobs as much, and when I do, I typically know the person very good that it’s not an “application” per say.
I had this site sitting here, and I know that your name is very important to own. There are a couple “Joey Ricard” out there, but not as many as other people. My poor friend Willie has to compete with celebrities and about 4000 other people with the same name. Owning the domain name though is very important. My brother had to buy a .org
Since I had the website hanging out, and I do internet marketing, SEO, and website design, I figured, I would SEO and actually put a little effort into the website.
